The following letter outlines the plans that we have put in place for the older nursery children to return to school, on Monday 8th June..

18/5/2020 update.

We are making plans to re-open on 3rd June, for the older nursery children, those who are going to reception in September. If your child is in this group, please let us know whether or not you would like them to return to school.

We will have to change the way we usually work, but we will make it as enjoyable and fun as possible. Please rest assured that children will not be expected to stay in a chalked box, as some pictures on social media have shown. Children of this age, can not socially distance and they will be able to play with a small group of children and staff, called their 'learning bubble'.

As with everything that we do, we can not eliminate risk, but we are doing our best to reduce risk by putting several measures in place, for example, keeping different learning bubbles away from each other, so that nobody mixes with too many people. We have staff who will be cleaning surfaces and equipment, we will all be washing our hands, at various points in the session and we will have a one way, socially distanced queue for you to drop off and pick up your child at the beginning and end of the session.

Over the next few days, I will be writing to all the families who want their children to return at this time with more details.

Please stay safe, and we hope to see you all soon.
